As you see Peter's daughter in the play, one part she is standing, facing Peter Pan, the school actor. When he says he will now give her a kiss, and what he really means is give the thimble back to her, she rises. How did she get to kneel down? And once she's up, he gives her the thimble, and jack smiles at the gesture, the clear shot of the background and two school actors, she's kneeling down again. How could she do that? She was clearly standing when the thimble was passed back.
