Buffy: The Vampire Slayer - Shrinking Vampire
In the first episode of the series, Darla and Thomas have Willow and Jesse trapped in the mausoleum. Darla changes into vampire face and appears to shrink. She either took a step back when she was changing or she did get smaller. (Personally, I think Julie Benz, the actress who played Darla, stood closer to the camera in human face than she did when they continued shooting her in vamp-face.)

Um ... vampires do not shrink once they inhibit the true vampire face. It's (for the most part) the same actors just wearing make-up. For example, I don't ever see Angel or Spike shrink ... it's probably just a camera mess-up

It was just poor camera work/directing. If you watch the commentary for "Welcome To The Hell Mouth", Joss comments on it, basically talking about how obvious the change from the one frame to the next was. She didn't shrink - they just did not put too much attention into her morph. She's not in the same position, her hair is different.. It's not Julie's mistake, just poor work on the crew's part. But it was season 1. They made a lot of mistakes.
