They shoot at the musketeers, who slam the door closed.
If you look on the door, while it is being closed, you will see that the gun shots are already on the door.

That's not a slip up. Do you think that's the first time there's been a gunfight? To say the bullet marks are already on the door is ridiculous. Obviously, the bullet marks are there from a previous altercation.
