Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone/Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - Vanishing Crowd
When Harry is being sorted into his house, you see a crowd of 25 or so other students waiting to be sorted.Then Harry goes to the Gryffindor table and lo and behold, the crowd is gone and they start the feast.

Can you imagine how much longer the movie would have been if they had taken the time to sort out everyone? It was the director's perogative to have cut out the rest of the sorting. I would not call this a slip up.
