At the end of the stampede scene, when the wagon goes over the side of the cliff, you can clearly see the lid come off of the large water jug on the wagon, and water begins to fly out of it. They then show Billy Crystal's reaction to the scene, but when they show the wagon again, its lid is tightly secured and no water is coming out.
