Little Mermaid (Disney) - Snarfblat?
First, fast forward movie to the part where Ariel is asking Scuttle what the smoking pipe is. He names it a Snarfblat. Next, fast forward to the part where Ariel is admiring Eric for the first time. She tells Scuttle that she likes the one playing the Snarfblat. But Eric is playing a long pied-piper type pipe. Does that mean it's a slip up? I know that they are both pipes, but they are visibly different and obviously one plays music and the other doesn't. (even though Ariel doesn't know this) Well, correct me if I wrong. Thanks!

Actually, you say that they are very different and that one plays music...but, if you listen when scuttle tells ariel what a snarfblat is, he blows into it, using it as a musical instrument, therefore, ariel sees the other musical instrument, assuming that all pipe looking things that play music are called snarfblats...

Actually she says both, she indicates the 'one playing the snarfblat' so Scuttle knows it's Eric and not the dog she thinks is handsome.

Actually, Ariel says, "Not that one, the other one. The one playing the snarfblatt". The trailer was obviously just edited.

I have also seen something else. In another Disney video, there is an advertisment for the Little Mermaid, and it is at this part of the film. she says to scuttle about him being hand some he say about him being hairy and slobbery, then she says not that one the other one. In the film she say the one playing the snorfblat.

I noticed that too... I watched it just the other day with my niece. Ariel definetly wouldn't have know that the pipe was a "snof... whatever the hell it is."
