The Christmas episode where they steal a tree so they can buy beer. When the stupid guy runs over to the girl and tries to hurdle the couch, he falls. That wasn't supposed to happen, but it was so funny, they left it.
Actually it is kind of helpful that we know which characters you are talking about when you list a slip up. And yes it is filmed in front of a live audience, but it's not like a Broadway play where you only have one shot. If mistakes are made (an actor forgets a line etc.) they can just re-shoot the scene. It happens all the time. There are plenty of instances on TV (usually comedies)and especially on this show where minor or just plain funny mistakes are made and are left in the show. You see actors struggling not to laugh or hiding their faces from the camera. It's what makes this show even more unique.

OK... lemme straigten this out in my mind... you know all this stuff about how the director left it in cause it was funny... a totally obscure fact on most of our parts... but you don't know that the guy's name is Michael Kelso? Man, you're an interesting fan... O_o
