If you notice in the first Halloween you will see in the end when Micheal Myers falls off the balcony he falls onto dirt. But in the second Halloween when they recap what happened in the first Halloween they show him falling onto grass. What happened there?
This can be attributed to the fact that in the first Halloween, Michael fell into the backyard and in Halloween II, he fell into the front (a slip-up in itself).
