CSI uses live people for their dead bodies so that they can do flashbacks, and if you were a person playing dead, would you want to stop breathing? I think not, cause if you did, you wouldn't be pretending.

Regardless of whether the *actor* is alive, the *character* is dead. Seeing him/her breathe is definitely a slip-up. The shots are maybe 10 seconds at most, there should be breath-holding and stuff like that.

Oh, come on people!!! when you make shows with dead people that are portrayed by real actors, you have to expect them to breathe, maybe it was kind of obveous, but you can't expect everything to be perfect, and how many episodes can you actually see them breathe? Even though once in a great while you can, you have to admit they do a heck of a job with the makeup!

Impossible. I saw a little thing on spike tv on how they do the autopsy scenes. The use wax bodies so it looks more real. They don't use real bodies because they don't want it to look fake.

They don't always use wax dummies for autopsy scenes. On the DVDs, you can view the extras that include make-up/special effects, and see that often the "victim" is made up for the autopsies.

That's not necessarily true *The wax thing* I saw a movie once where the dead girl gulped when she was supposedly dead.
