In the beginning of the movie, Jim Carrey walks into his office and is confronted by a co-worker. The co-worker has with them a cart with wheels on it that had mail and other papers on it. With the papers what a magic 8 ball. That magic 8 ball must have been pretty magical if it ended up on Carrey's desk as the camera moved from the co-worker to Carrey within a split second.
