Elle has just gone to Harvard and it's her first class. She was only in the lesson about 5 minutes when she was thrown out by the teacher who got the permission off the Selma Blair character. Elle goes outside in a huff where she meets the lovely Emmitt. Then her ex boyfriend turns up and 1 minute later Selma Blair is there to say that they were engaged. Call me crazy but unless she was thrown our of the lesson too she should not be there but be in class.
