Cider House Rules - David Copperfield
When Homer is reading David Copperfield to the orphans near the beginning, he starts reading the first line of the book (I think it goes like this), "Whether I shall be the hero of my own life, or whether that place should be filled by anyone else, these pages must show." Then, without stopping, he continues onto, "I was a posthomous child...", which isn't read until a little while later in the book.
