Snatch - 86 or 84
In the beginning of the movie when Cousin Avi is on the phone with Frankie Four Fingers he refers the the diamond as an 86 karat. But throughout the rest of the movie it's referred to as an 84 karat. Watch it and see.

This would seem in every way to be intentional. For what purpose i'm not sure, but it seems impossible that an "error" such as this in the script could go completely unnoticed. Typically slips are in the actual filming and acting/scene cutting of the movie, not in the dialouge. A possible explanation for the numbers (aside from a sort-of running joke throughout the movie) would be that they are used for the personal gain of whatever character happens to state either the higher or lower.

Actually, this may be trying to be a joke, when the dog swallowed the diamond,they might be inplying 2K's were digested.... that's what i thought.
