This is the episode where their Mom is gone and Dad is trying to teach Junior a lesson about his friends taking advantage of him.

Toward the end of the show, the kids pour their Dad a bowl of cereal in the kitchen. You can see through the windows that it's dark outside. Later, after they come back from dinner and some of Juniors friends come over, Clare answers the door. Now, it's light out.

I'm assuming it's the same day/night since they are all wearing the same clothes they went to dinner in.
