In 'Shorties in Love' (episode 16, season 1) Max goes to a house to get into a vault and Diamond follows. Max uses a cross bow to send a wire from one end of the room to the other. When this wire moves because of Diamond, a cage falls and locks her in. This cage clearly has a bar across the bottom that goes through the wire without breaking it.
