When the hunt is about to begin, and the toast is being made, watch the glasses. The glass is full, then almost empty, back to full again, before it is drank from.
That was a very good slip-up but the person has it backwards. The glass starts with very little then is full and finishing with very little to make it easier for him to swallow it down in one gulp.
