Captain Scarlet - The Sun Is Following Him!
In the very first episode of Captain Scarlet, Scarlet is a bad guy
and has kidnapped the President. He is being chased up the ramp of
what looks like a multi-storey car park.
As he's going up the ramp, you see the view from his car window, and
shadows from the middle pillars are projected onto the wall on the left
of him, the sun being on the right of the screen. But he keeps going
up, and the shadows stay in front of the car.
This would only happen if the car was staying still, and the car park
revolving.

Re:The Mysterons (Title of Episode 1) The Mysterionized "Scarlet", is in fact going up a helical (Corkscrew shaped) ramp of the London Car-Vu car-park, which consists of a central support pillar, a helical ramp, and 4 parking platforms at the very top. as a result it is producing the result, which is being commented on, but slightly differently to the commented result, i.e he's stationary and the Car-Vu's rotating! He's actually driving around and up the central support pillar. By the way, who is going to pay for the cost of reconstructing the motorway viaduct, which was destroyed by an Angel Interceptor, in a attempt to stop "Scarlet", Spectrum, or the World Government! In addition, who's going to pay out to replace the Car-Vu! Can you imagine the legal dispute... By the way, where's the World Vice-President ? "Sorry for the grammatical mistakes, but I had to clarify what's going on" Yours, Grimley

The Mysteronised "Captain Scarlet" is, according to the story, driving up the central ramp of the London Car-Vu, and as the car's steering wheel is on the left, i.e it's a right hand drive vehicle, this effect would occur. Note: the slip up poster has spotted how this effect was done when shooting the shot i.e the car is stationary, and the Car-Vu model is rotating! The Captian Scarlet documentary DVD/Video spoofed this quite well, in the documentary, the Mysterons threaten to destroy a power plant in Germany. After picking up the nearest S.P.V, they drive to the power plant, only to slow down & stop. Captain Blue thinks it may be a new Mysteron Weapon, a energy draining force field. Capitan Scarlet replies that Dave has been distracted by something, & is not cranking the mechanism to move the background, leans out of the cut away side of the S.P.V & calls Dave back to resume cranking, he does so & they begin to move again! It's quite funny!
