Haunting, The - I Didn't Know Concrete Did That
Near the end when Nell was luring Hughe Craine to the judgment doors he blows Liam Neeson and Catherine Zeta-Jones over. Liam Neeson's arm hits a "concrete" pillar. It bends in and then pushes back out like foam. I didn't know concrete did that!

If the place is haunted, anything could happen. I've seen a few "haunted house" movies, and many of them show weird things going on with the walls, furniture, pillars, etc. So maybe it was supposed to bend.

Actually, this is a slip-up. What really made this movie amazing for me was that almost every shot inside Hill House was filmed on a sound stage, meaning that all the rooms were sets. I must say there were very elaborate, detailed, huge, and beautiful sets, and they can't actually afford to build everything that should be stone or cement from rock, so what set constructors have done for years is used a foam material that when painted correctly looks convincingly like stone on film. I'm sure everything cement-looking in the house was made out of foam, so it was just an actor's mistake putting pressure on a wrong part of the set.
