Blow - Lobby
At Diego's wedding, George and Myrtha meet for the first time. The wedding also takes place in Columbia; however, when George is running down the stairs, just before he embraces and kisses Myrtha, the sign on the wall of the steps says "lobby." If they are in Columbia, why would it say "Lobby?"

They are NOT in Columbia, they are in COLOMBIA. And, yes, it can say Lobby, because in most of the hotels, they speak English, what do you think, that they can only speak Spanish?

As everyone knows, this movie is based on a true story. The wedding does not take place in Columbia it in fact takes place in Montreal. Montreal does have french and english so that is why it "Lobby" is in English. Also he never actually says it takes place in Columbia just that there are alot of Columbian people there. (in the book, Canadian officials become suspicious at the number of Columbians there, but have nothing to take them in on)

Haven't you ever been in a hotel, restaraunt etc. here in America and seen something in English and then in Spanish as well. Then why is it so hard for a hotel in a different country it to be in English? Besides, this is a true story and you can't argue with history.
