Carters niece meets him in the lobby of his hotel. He says he has had a bad day and he wouldn't be very good company. Carter says they should get together the next day and that he would call her. He changes his mind and asks her if she is hungry. They show a close-up of her face and she is not wearing a nose ring on the right side of her nose. But in the very next scene, when Carter takes his niece to a diner for something to eat & while they are sitting at the counter, she is wearing a nose ring on the right side of her nose.
