During the first part of the Miss American Miss pageant, when the contestants are singing, one girl's sash clearly reads "Miss District of Columbia." We all know this is Washington D.C. However, earlier on in the movie it is said that the contest contains one representative from each state. It also says there are 50 contestants. If there is one person from each state, plus 1 from DC, then that would be 51 people. What's up with that?
