World is Not Enough, The (007) - Which Arm Did I Hurt Again?
Just after the boat chase at the start, when the would-be-assassin blows up the hot air balloon, you will notice that James falls very heavily on his RIGHT arm. This is presumably why he needs the sling but his left arm is sore for the rest of the movie. Did anyone else see this?

He falls on his right arm, but I am pretty sure he catches the rope with his left arm/hand. That is what hurt him, not the actual fall.

Yes, correct, he did fall on his right shoulder, and this may well have hurt. However, anyone who has broken anything will tell you that you might not break what you land on. He fell from a great height, yes, but when he landed on his right shoulder, all the shock travelled through his collarbone to his left shoulder. With nowhere else to go, the shock breaks the bone. That is why you should never jump into water from a great height and land flat on the surface on your feet. You are in danger of cracking your skull. He may have acquired the torn tendons later, when he did snag on the rope, but this would not have broken his shoulder.
