Did you ever think that she could have been talking about a lunch period that happened on a different day? She never said that it happened that day.

I assumed that the incident Patrick was getting told off for occurred the previous day.

Good listening but I don't think that this is a slip-up. It probably happened the day before (or earlier in the week) and She was just getting around to talking to him about it.

I hate to rain on everyone's parade with this movie, but this is no slip up either. I agree that the scene takes place in the morning, you see Kat driving herself to school. But who's to say that the counselor couldn't see Patrick until the next morning? Maybe he didn't go to any classes after lunch? I mean, you see him leave class after Kat tells him they were discussing the oppressive, patriarchal values that dictate society.

May I point out that in many parts of the world Bratwurst is considered a possible breakfast food.

I think she is referring to the day before- Cameron could have joined in the middle of the week, its not actually stated when he joins

That is a good catch. But did you consider that maybe they were talking about the day before? It is a possibility, but for the most part, I agree with you.
