McKenna's Gold - The Shadow Knows

In the morning, when the rising sun shows the entrance to the Valley of Gold, the shadow is moving from the base of the needle rock to the entrance-the wrong direction for a rising sun!

What's even worse, the shadow stops when it reaches the entrance and then a minute later it mysteriously disappears! No concern about astronomy and physics here!!
