When David goes into the bathroom to wash his hands his shirt is un-tucked. When we see him drying his hands, it is still un-tucked, them he comes out of the bathroom, pick up a snow globe and suddenly his shirt is completely tucked into his pants. You would have been able to tell if he had tucked it in himself.
