Josie and the Pussycats - Broken Guitar?
In the scene where Josie tries to free Mel and Val, and when Fiona notices, she picks up a blue guitar with some label on the side (It's a fast scene, so you may not notice). The she smashes it at Josie, after Josie says all of the "You need me" crap. The guitar hits the "Megasound 8000" and they both explode into little pieces. Then when "The Pusscats" are about to go on the stage to play, Josie picks up the EXACT SAME blue guitar which was smashed into pieces 5 minutes earlier. What's with that???

How do you know it was the same guitar?

Umm...actually the guitar didn't break *at all*. Fiona hits the processor with the guitar and drops it, but you never see it break.

I can't even begin to say why this isn't a slipup. 1. The guitar doesnt get smashed. 2. The "guitar" that Alexander walks on with is a bass not a guitar, but is blue. Count the strings, it's completely different to the one that got "smashed". 3. Josie's guitar used on stage is black... NOT BLUE!!! 4. Val's bass used onstage is gold and white... NOT BLUE!!!

Oh, and also, it's not the same guitar. The guitar that supposedly breaks is all blue, and the one Josie uses during the concert is black with white outline.

If you have ever been to a rock concert you would see that the musicians frequently change guitars between songs. Maybe the guitar she picked up was an extra.

I know, I know. Obviously this is a real slip-up. But seriously, this movie is based on a comic book strip about crime-fighting guitar-playing teenage girls and the plot to take over teenagers minds with subliminal messages in music. I think picking up a guitar that has already been broken is the most realistic thing in the movie!!
