This slip-up happens when Karass goes to see Regan and brings along his tape recorder. After he pulls out the "holy water" and sprays it on Regan, watch closely. Near the end of that scene, you see Regan screaming backwards. When they get a close up of her right before she screams and turns her head, you can see she has no white make-up on her ears. They are normal!
