Hocus Pocus - Night or Day?
In the beginning of the movie, Thackery wakes up in early morning. Fast forward to being in the witches hut, when an angry mob is knocking at the door, accusing the Sanderson sisters of witchcraft. Look out the windows. It's dark out!
The time period between the two events couldn't have been more than a couple of hours. Even if it was that long, it still wouldn't be dark yet.

When I first read this I agreed with you. But I just saw the movie on television today. I think that it was dark because they were in the forest and there was a storm moving in. So maybe that is the reason why it was so dark when all the people came.

Whoever said it wasn't Thackery is wrong. It is, if you turn on the closed caption that is how it is spelled. Plus his father says it the same way if you don't have closed caption so it is not just a lisp.
