Go to the part of the movie where Wesley has finally caught up with Vencini and Buttercup. They are sitting on a rock as Wesley approaches, and Vencini has a knife to Buttercup's throat. Wesley keeps walking forward towards them, and it told to stop. When he doesn't, Vencini pushes the knife closer to Buttercup's throat. In the ensuing scenes, look at Buttercup's throat. There is a small bloody spot. Either this is a REALLY good job of consistency, or he really cut her!!
