This slip-up is on the episode of Third Rock From the Sun where Sally has just moved out and the house is a mess. Dick is so upset that he brings his dishes to work and asks Nina Cambell (Dr. Albright's assistant) to ask the guy down in the kitchen to wash his dishes. He brings in a box full of dishes and then hands them to her and asks her to go ask the kitchen worker right away. When she refuses to she drops the box and it lands right side up (still breaking some but not all of the dishes). The camera then pans to Nina walking off. As it pans back it shows Dick stepping over the box. The box is tipped over and plates are spilled out all over the floor. But right before the pan to watch Nina walk away it was right side up and all the dishes were still in the box.
