League of Their Own, A - Last Run Doesn't Count
In the movie when Kit is running to make the winning home run at the World Series, she runs into Dotti, Dotti drops the baseball, and Kit wins the game. If you watch carefully, you will see that Kit never actually touches home plate. She falls right over home base. Therefore, that run wouldn't count, and the game would be tied.

Not true. If you watch closely, you see her foot scrape across home plate. Therefore, the run counts and Racine wins the game.
