When Memphis is about to get shot and his brother takes over the crane, he knocks the guys over and they land on the hood of a car. If you look closely at the hood of the car, its the hood of the GT500. Didn't that car just get picked up by the crane?
Yes, but I thought the crane picked up the mustang and dropped it into the crusher, then it came back and knocked the two guys in the crusher as well. That's how they landed on the hood of the GT 500.

If you watch close enough, you will see that the car gets picked up by the crane, and dropped into the pit next to where Memphis and the other two guys are about to shoot him. So when they get knocked down, that is why they land on Elanore.
