Liar Liar - I Thought He Couldn't Lie!
After the scene where Jim Carey beats himself up in the wash-room, he says to the judge that he was beat up in the wash-room, and he knew it wasn't true, but he said it was! I thought he couldn't lie, but he did! Right to the judge! That's a pretty big mistake, and I'm surprised it isn't already here, because it's pretty obvious!

Actually, he does ask who did it but Fletcher (Jim Carey) said " A mad man your honor. A desperate fool at the end of his pitiful rope." Then the judge said "What did he look like? then Fletcher says "about 6'4" 180 lbs, big teeth kind of gangly" he is describing himself.

But he DID get beat up in the bathroom. The judge doesn't ask by who, so he just says he got beat up.

Yeah, exactly. He's not lying when he says that he got beaten up in the washroom. He did get beaten up in the washroom... by himself! And the judge didn't ask him who beat him up, just what had happened. I'm sure that a lot of people will agree that he answered her question, and yeah, so he didn't say, "I just beat myself up", but his version of events is still correct!

Actually the bailiff said that he got beat up. Then the judge asked him if he could go on and he said yes.

He gets beaten up by himself so when he describes who beat him up, he describes himself.
