In the dvd commentary, they said it wasn't supposed to happen, but they left it in the movie anyway.

If you watch the DVD commentary....it is a fly that lands ON his nose and he swats it away. They say it happened in one of the many takes, at first it was not in the movie but in the final editing the director decided it was funnier with the fly so he put that take back in the movie. It is a real fly, and it doesn't go up his nose it lands on it.

It's not computer animation, it's real animation, it even says in the commentary.

That was put in the movie on purpose because it is a comedy. It is there because it is funny.

I noticed that too, and I do think it was a slip up, but it blended in well with the movie.

That's part of the movie. It's not even real; it's computer animation. Everyone notices that.
