Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi - We Heard You the First Time Han!
Go to the scene where they are at the sarlac pit and the big fight breaks out between the good guys and all of Jabba's guards. There is one part where Chewie has just untied Han. Bobba Fett is standing behind them. Chewie says something in wookie speech, and Han exclaims "Bobba Fett?!" (one assumes that Chewie has just informed him that Bobba Fett is standing behind him). It then cuts to a shot of Fett raising his gun to shoot at Luke. As he does this, listen very hard and you will hear Han say "Bobba Fett?!" again in the background. We heard you the first time!

My explanation for this is, Han was surprised the first time when he heard Boba Fett, and he said it again just to make sure that's what Chewie said. It's like "Are you talking to me? Are you talking to ME?" Sometimes re-emphasizing intensifies the moment.

I agree with Jimmy. This isn't that hard to hear, so one would assume that it wasn't a slip up, he just said it again

In the original script, Han does exclaim "Boba Fett?!" twice; therefore, this is not a slip-up.

Han said first "Bobba Fett" and on the second time he said "Bobba Fett, Where?" and that is NOT a slip-up, you Lucas-hater!

I think the reason why people think this is a slipup is that the sound appears to be repeated. If you listen to it...it's got the exact same inflection and timing as the original phrase. It might have been a slip up but (maybe he forgot to say it twice) but it was really in the script to say it twice. So in effect it was a slip up that fixed itself...serendipity. Or maybe he just says it the same...it does sound weird when you hear it though.

Han is still blind. Boba Fett is a dangerous man even to those who can see him. If you just heard that one of the most dangerous men in the Universe was behind you and you were so highly disadvantaged, you would be scared as well. Han was frightened and startled. Besides, the infletion does differ slightly from the first time to the second but it isn't much. This is clearly not a slip-up

Is there some kind of law preventing Han Solo from repeating phrases?!?!
