Blow - Hampshire College
In the scene where Johnny Depp's character and friends are talking about how much weed they can sell in the new england/Massachusetts they use the close proximity of all the schools as an example. They mention UMass Amherst and BC (which aren't very close) but don't really mention the four other schools right in Amherst EXCEPT for mentioning Hampshire College. Well, the date subtitle given just before the scene was for 196-something. Hampshire College wasn't incorporated as such until 1970....I go there, and my sweatshirt proves it. But hey, they were on the right track to market the wacky tabacky there. Hooray for the hippies.

not to mention that in the general proximity of Boston there are WAY more colleges than they mentioned. Even in the 70's (when the scene in question took place.) This is loosely based on a true story, people, and even in the book written by George Jung, he talks about selling to a lot of colleges in the Boston area.

First of all, the movie is full of mistakes... And the name of the country, to whoever who wrote this, is COLOMBIA, not Columbia, OK? The mistakes are not "making or edition " or this kind of mistakes, they are logical and historical mistakes for all the people who has been in Colombia, and as I see, also to people like this guy from Hampshire...this movie is terrible
