This movie is supposed to be funny! It's not supposed to be real! The directors aren't going to give up a joke like this just to make it life like. And maybe Cindy ripped the note off, the point is, it's supposed to be funny!

Even if they were trying to be real, it was just a piece of paper it could have just fallen off. Plus how did the paper get there in the first place? Did he just happen to a pen and paper by his side?

Ok. I will sort this out. Kevin IS Buddy. Cindy starts to call him Buddy because they are going to just be 'friends.' 'Buddies.' Also, the whole movie is a goof, a joke, it is supposed to be funny and just a laugh, it is definitely NOT a serious movie. I agree, where would he get a pen and paper to make the sign, and seriously, would a ghost really be chasing them, or a tree making someone into a smoke? It's supposed to be funny, and it has lots of impossible stupid things happening. This ain't a slip up!!

I watched this last night and spotted that the sign had gone, but I don't reckon it's a slip-up. Simply that the makers put the sign on as a gag, but there was no need to worry about continuity to keep the gag going after it had got the laugh.
