Nice try, but that was not a slip-up. It was intentional. It was meant to show that Joey thought he was too cool to remember the guys name. It also was to show that since Boggy wasn't popular, his name and who he was was of little or no importance to Joey, other than a place to party.

Actually, I think this is quite intentional. As Bogey Lowenstein is a school geek, and Joey is so popular and up himself, it would seem highly unlikely that he would remember Bogey's last name exactly

It is an obvious mistake. It is a play on words with his name that he is obviously too cool to remember. Instead of Lowenstein (or whatever) he says Lowenbraugh (sp?) which is a beer maker.

It was quite intentional. It's showing that Joey doesn't know Bogey's name because he's not popular. And in fact, that's what happens in real life, too...the popular kids think they don't have to know everyone's name.
