Wizard of Oz, The - Lion's Tail String!
Go to any part where you can see the back of the lion. See how the lion is moving the tail around? Well, you can clearly see the string that was moving it.
But what I think about all these slip-ups is it was an old movie/less technology!

It's true that the lion's tail string is obvious...but at one point when they are about to see the Wizard, the scarecrow (Ray Bolger) links the lions arm, and accidentally links the string too! You can see the tail suddenly move to the side, and then see the scarecrow notice, and watch as he unlinks then links his arms again! It's very funny to watch.

the lion's tail is so visiable and easly tangled up because the tail was hooked up to a fishing pole, that a crew memeber controled on beams up top. if you look at the part when the 3 are going to witches castel you can see him try to grab his tail so they would stop messing with him.

My Grandfather has claimed all his life that it was his job to move the lions tail from above. We know he worked on the movie but cannot find the credits. If anyone knows how I might go about finding proof, I would appreciate it. michaelvogt52@hotmail.com
