When the two police officers are in the diner for the first time and Charlie is supposed to pay Yvonne he notices he doesn't have enough money to give her a tip. While they are discussing the Power Ball ticket Charlie never hands her the $2.00 for the coffee. Throughtout the scence you never see him hand her anything, so he leaves without paying her. This is just minor but I've noticed quite a few movies and sitcoms have slip-ups like this ALL the time, it gets irritating.
