Lost Souls - X-E-S? Sex Spelled Backwards?
X-E-S doesn't add up to 666 when you change the numerals. In Greek numerals, X is 600, E is 60, and *F* is 6. There is no Greek number for S. At least I couldn't find one when I looked this up. So unless it has changed from sex to f-e-x, they made a mistake.
Special Requirements:
The movie, a keen set of eyes, a wondering brain, and a web page explaining religions and cults.

At you´ll find a possible explanation for the connection between the number of XES and the number of the beast. So I guess this most definitely wasn´t a slip-up in the movie!

The Greek numerals/letters for 666 are Chi - Xi - Zeta. When written in lowercase they resemble x - e - s respectively ... but only if written by a drunk fairy who liked curlycues and flourishes. (Go to Word, set the font to "Symbol" and type c-x-z to see for yourself.) Problem is, the lowercase Greek letters weren't invented until about the 8th Century AD. All Greek writing before that was in ALLCAPS, and the letters would look like X - (2 horizontal lines with a ~ between them) - Z. So, whether this is a blooper or not, is a matter of opinion and taste. The biggest blooper in the movie, however, was that it was ever made. It just plain stunk - it was so stupid you have to wonder just how desperate the actors were for employment or are just as stupid as the script-writer.
