Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - Dog at the Door
When Ace gets the stolen dog back at the start of the movie, the man who had it sees a stuffed dog at the door. not only is the dog so close to the door that the man would have hit it when he shut it, it moves back a few inches in the next shot. It goes from having its nose on the door to being a foot away (and it's a STUFFED DOG!)

When Ace switched the dogs, he might of moved the stuffed dog back some. There is a logical explanation.

Ok. Ace would have had quite a bit of trouble trying to close the door and put the stuffed dogs nose right on the door at the same time.

Not really Marie, the door opened into the house. Therefore, he couldn't have gotten the dog's nose to touch the door then successfully keep it there while shutting the door. Understand?

it would'nt have been possible for the dog to stay in the apartment when the door was closed because ace puts the dog down to close to the door frame and it would have shut him out.
