Any Given Sunday - First Down Baloney
It comes at the point in the movie when the linebacker (I can't remember his name, but he's played by Lawerence Taylor) gets injured. He tackles a guy and gets really hurt, but before they bring him off the field or even get him up, the refs measure for a first down and decide that he stopped the opposing team. Baloney! They never measure first downs until the field is cleared and the ball has been placed!

The real mistake is that what Coach would go for it on fourth and one, up by four, with 55 seconds left in the game, when a field goal is just a chip shot away?

Did anyone notice that basically all the football scenes in this movie are inaccurate? It looks like Arena Footbal for christsakes. Also, maybe the refs didn't realize he was down when the took then measurement.
