Boy Meets World - So Which Is It? Pass Up? Or Collect?
In the episode where Cory's dad wakes him up in the middle of the night to watch the Phillies game, the next day he takes a test which he flunks.
Well, when Mr. Feeney is collecting the tests he says, "Now pass up your papers to the person in front of the rows" or something like that, but then he goes around collecting them. What's up with that?! First he told them to pass them up, then he goes around and collects them! He can't even follow his own directions!

Doesn't he pick them up from all of the front row people? I'm not sure because I don't know exactly what episode your talking about...but I know he does this a lot.

Mr. Feeny was probably trying to be efficent. If each student in the class passed their paper(s) to the front of the row, then all Mr. Feeny would have to do is collect the papers from the first person in each row. Ta-da.

What the person means, is that Feeny said to pass the papers up to the front of each row, but then Feeny goes around collecting papers from each student, instead of picking them up at the front of the row.
