When Melanie and Scarlett are in the church doing some sort of needlework next to an injured man's bedside, their shadows are cast onto the wall behind them by a lamp sitting next to them. It is pretty obvious to see that the shadows on the wall are not really cast directly by the actors during that scene: the motions of the actresses and their shadows don't come close to synching up.
