At the end of the movie, the helicopter is flying away from the island. Dr. Grant is looking out the window and spots a flock of birds. In the background you notice that there is heavy vegetation flying by. The scene shows the birds and then Dr. Grant again with the vegetation. The the camera switches and circles the helicopter which is in the middle of the ocean! What happened to the heavy vegetation?
