Field of Dreams - Slip Up on the Scorecard/Scoreboard
Go to the scene where Terence Mann and Ray Kinsella are at Fenway Park. After Ray sees the notice on the scoreboard about Moonlight Graham, he then writes "Moonlight Graham" where he is keeping track of the game on his scorecard. Ray only has the game tracked in the first inning. The scoreboard read 10:30pm and 10:32pm respectively on two screen shots at the scoreboard. All games in Major League Baseball are usually over by this time of night (barring extra innings) Ray only had game information in the first inning column, meaning the game had just started prior to the message on the scoreboard. It would have been to late to start a Major League Baseball game.

I think what actually happened here is that Ray Consella (Costner) had been keeping score in the first inning and apparently became bored with doing so, hence the discontinued scorecard. Even if he were to pick back up keeping score, it's pretty tough to keep an accurate card after failing to keep track of the entire game.
