Crow, The - Devils Night Was Yesterday!
When Eric Draven comes back from the dead it's "Devils Night", (the night before Halloween - as the movies opening titles say). This is mentioned a couple of times: Tin Tin says that "Halloween is manyana"("manyana" is "tomorrow" in spanish) right before Eric kills him, T-Bird says "Devils Night is my new favorite holiday", and in the scene where Sarahs mother is making her breakfast you can hear the news report on the TV talking about what happened on Devils Night last night. Later on in the movie, on HALLOWEEN night, Top Dollar is talking to a bunch of people and says that "Devils Night is upon us again". A few minutes later Eric Draven sees some trick-or-treaters.

This isn't a slip up on the movies part so much as on the viewers. First of all, When T-Bird is saying Devil's night is my new favorite holiday he is not saying that it is Devil's night just that it is his favorite. Much like saying I love Christmas in December. As far as the TV in Sarah's Mom's house they are not talking about what happened last night. They are doing a news bulliten about why that night is called Devil's Night. They are telling people about what has happened before to earn it the name. Then yes later on Top Dollar is talking about Devil's Night being upon us because it is become night time. The movie spans two days. That's all no slip ups.

The news story on TV while Sarah's mother is making her breakfast IS talking about "Devils Night, last night". The newscast shows the flaming crow symbol (that Eric creates after the car goes into Lake Michigan) and they talk about a few murders that happened the night before (if you listen to the news as Sarah and her mother are talking). Plus, if you follow the time line, Eric Draven returns from the dead on "Devils Night" (excactly one year after he was killed). He kills most of the gang that night. The next morning Sarahs mother makes Sarah breakfast and Eric pays a visit to the cops apartment sometime during that day. Then there's the next night: Halloween night. The night when Top Dollar makes his speech. It is an error!

I've noticed this also. You should also notice there are kids running around in costumes somewhere throughout the movie. I'm assuming the movie is placed over a course of two or even three days.
