Blade - Blade Earring
In the first scene where Whistler is injecting Blade with the serum as the Dr. watches, a close-up reveals that Blade has earring holes in his ear. Hello?! Doesn't Blade have the ability to regenerate from wounds. He was born a vampyre. The holes should have closed up.

Blade was born a "Day-Walker"...not a true vampire. He had characteristics of both vampires and humans. I thought it quite clear that he would heal faster and was stronger than most humans but not didn't age like them and didn't have the complete 'healing' power that vampires possessed.

Whistler tells the Dr. that his wounds from the fight would be healed the next day. He is not a true vampire but has the ability to regenerate that vampires do.

if he kept his earring in enough then the hole may heal around the edges like a normal earring and no more healing would happen, look at a normal pierced hole and you would see this.
