Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. - "Where Is Dr. Evil's Secret Volcano Lair?"
When Austin asks Mustafa where the volcano lair is he says that he won't tell and austin asks if he rally has to ask 2 more times - he does. He repeats the question and Mustafa doesn't answer. Felicity then says that he has to answer because it was the third time - but it was only the second.

This was cleared up right after. Here, I'll repeat the conversation for you: Austin: "Do I really have to ask you two more times?" Mustafa: "Go to hell, Powers." Austin: "Fine..Where is Dr.Evil's secret......volcano.......lair?" Mustafa: "I will take it to the grave with me." Felicity: "AH-HA. You have to answer. He asked you 3 times." Mustafa: "No,no,no. The second question was, do I really have ask you 2 more times, so that would be the first question in a new line of questioning and would not count in the other line of questioning." Austin: "He's right."

to Klobbersaurus, insano(Bum), and Vincer: let me explain it to YOU. -Austin asks where the volcano lair is - 1st time -Mustafa refuses to answer -Austin says do I really have to ask you 2 more times? -Mustafa says go to hell -Austin asks again - second time question is asked, but third question -Mustafa refuses -Felicity says that question is asked 3 times The quesion is asked 2 times, there were 3 questions all together, but that particular one is only asked TWO TIMES.

That was the point, duh! Again, how often do we need to say that this is a SPOOF?! It's a joke. A comedy relief. Don't analyze these movies too closely, you'll give yourself a headache from all that thinking. PLEASE!

Oh thank God, I thought I was the only person who noticed this slip-up. I've seen the movie so many times, and every time that part bugs the crud out of me. You guys are right, Austin asks the question twice, and in-between them asks "Do I really have to ask you two more times?" That line right there prepares the viewer to hear the question two more times, am I right? But no, Austin only asks it once more. This is a flub the creators intended to make into a joke, but just screwed up.

First of all, don't get mad when they put in slip-ups because you aren't forced to read this, so why are you in here?? Second, I have seen that part of the movie so many times, and that bugs every single time. I actually always thought everyone else heard the 3rd time, but apparently it ISN'T there. See, he only asks the "Where is Dr. Evil's Secret Lair?" twice. He asks it the first time, then asks if he really has to say it three times and then he says it one more time and then the whole explanation thing. The actual question is only asked twice. It really bugs me, and I don't think they would put that in the movie on purpose, because it isn't funny and it makes no sense at all. ~Thank you

just to let you know, she says he asked him 3 times. NOT that he asked him where the secret volcano lair was 3 times. therefore, it is correct, because Austin did ask 3 times, just not the same questions.

Petri is right. The film makers have obviously seen this mistake and have tried to make a joke out of it, but it doesn't work. But I also agree with teach. This is not a serious movie by anyone's standards and was not put together to make people think, but to make people laugh. So just go with their plan. Laugh, don't think or you'll get brain damage.
